pH is neutral at 7.0. Anything below that
figure is in the acidic range and anything above it is in the base (alkaline) range.
Most diseases and ailments
cannot flourish in an alkaline environment. The body functions much better when it's in the alkaline range.
There are simple ways to increase your pH, and the easiest way is to eat dark green leafy vegetables. You can also
drink "green drinks," take alkalizing drops, and there are also some teas that are alkalizing.
Most people don't understand the importance of increasing their pH. As one whose spouse is a
cancer survivor, I'm one who is going to make sure the nasty "C" doesn't come back.
I remember
the only things we worried about pH was water and soil. That's not true any more. Your blood is probably the
best indicator of your surrounding pH and what you need to do, increase it or decrease it.
One of the things I
make my spouse do is take a sufficient amount of anti-oxidants along with alkalizing supplements. Chlorophyll is an
alkalizing supplement. So is alfalfa and spirulina.
The best thing to do is stay away from acidic
food: tomatoes, oranges, grapefruit, etc. It takes ten times the amount of alkaline to over-ride one times the
amount acid, yes, ten to one. That's a pretty drastic ratio. Let's see...one cup of tomato to ten cups
of spinach. I don't think so! So, the best thing to do is don't eat the tomato and you won't have
the acid. Besides, tomatoes have carbs, which we have to watch. A little is okay, but a lot isn't.
I love tomatoes. A lot of people do. The answer is to watch the amount of acid you eat and make sure you
counter act it with enough alkaline.
The best thing to do is to take alkaline drop supplements, drink lots of alkalizing
tea, drink "green drinks," or any other way you find that you like that ingesting alkaline or alkaline producing
agents.
You can purchase pH strips or paper to test your pH and keep track of your pH level.
